The band is thicker than I expected...that's OK. It has a slight reddish-brown tint rather than the darker brown in the product photo---that I quite like.
A few complaints: it's much shorter than I expected. I have what I believe is an average wrist circumference but I can only strap it at the next to last hole which is at least 3 holes shy of what I'm used to...and this makes the band way too short. I would not recommend this watch band for: a] too stiff b] way too short
