I haven't had any luck purchasing a heavy band aftermarket. I went to 3 jewellry stores prior to ordering this band and could't find anything wide enough to fit my watch. Other than being of lighter weight, this band looks good, and should work fine for any watch it is the proper size for, and the price is very fair. I would purchase again. FD

I like the band, BUT I had to use the pins from my old watchband to attach it to my watch.The ones that came with it weren't quite wide enough and a little chinsy. No big deal.The biggest problem I'm having with it is the 2 band 'holders'. Neither is attached to the band itself and they are CONSTANTLY sliding away from the end of the band that they are supposed to be holding down. I mess with it all day long. If I tighten the band on my wrist, the 'holders' stay in place a little better, but I don't like the band that tight on my wrist. For eleven bucks, I'll deal with it. For now at least.

The band is thicker than I expected...that's OK. It has a slight reddish-brown tint rather than the darker brown in the product photo---that I quite like.
A few complaints: it's much shorter than I expected. I have what I believe is an average wrist circumference but I can only strap it at the next to last hole which is at least 3 holes shy of what I'm used to...and this makes the band way too short. I would not recommend this watch band for: a] too stiff b] way too short
