At times you will try to find a leather waterproof watchband at a retail outlet, something I almost never do anymore thanks to sites like Amazon, but you will generally be told that there is no such thing as waterproof, only water resistant. Well, don't fall for that, this band is truly waterproof as I have tested it in the shower and sink by saturating and it comes out with no residual sign of water. It's not coated with a waterproof material which eventually will breakdown. This is treated for waterproof quality in the tanning process, it has a core that is either rubber or rubberlike. The buckle is also unique and has sort of a snazzy and bold look.

I liked mine so much I bought two. The band looks good and the contrast stitching is a nice touch. I honestly don't know how you could be anything but thrilled with this band especially if you want it waterproof for swimming, showering or merly washing your hands without taking it off.
