A while back, I purchased a $20 pocket watch on a lark, and, while I knew I was purchasing a cheap-substandard product, I didn't expect that same pocket watch to stop working after two weeks. I also didn't expect the "snap-clasp" that controls the opening and closing of the front of the pocket watch to wear out within that same time either.

Welcome to the Gotham watch. What's fantastic about this watch is that you can view all the intricate gears of the thing without opening and closing a "snap-clasp," preventing the problem of a clasp inevitably wearing out over time. It also comes with a (limited) lifetime warranty, guaranteeing that I will be able to get it fixed so long as it suffers only normal wear and tear. Of course, that means that I always keep it wrapped in a non-scratch cloth while it's in my pocket (which the watch conveniently comes with), but that's a small price to pay.

Bottom line, great quality, looks nice, and lifetime warranty. Can't complain about that.
