I ordered the Sterling Silver Quartz watch and a compatable Charles-Hubert leather watch pouch because of my penchant for destroying wrist watches, their bands and band attachments. They become clobbered by my lifestyle and don't last long.
The actual watch departs somewhat from the description of the item on this page. The differences are good ones as the listed diameter of 46mm understates the actual measured diameter. By my calipers, the watch is just a bit less than 1.9 inches or 47.4 mm. Thickness comes out to .51- inch or almost 13mm. Looking at internet watch vendors, I see this particular model, #3750 is universally described as having a scratch resistant mineral crystal rather than the "plastic" listed here. The Amazon price is favorable compared to that of some of the other vendors. The pictures are perfectly representative of the details of the watch-likely a good predictor of what the item will look like as it takes on character due to the natural tendency of silver to tarnish. New, the actual watch has a much higher polish.

After a couple of days, it appears that the regulation is going to be as accurate as is expected of quarz watches.

I adore this pocket watch. I had been looking for several months at local stores and never could find exactly what I was look for. Found this on good ole amazon and decided to give it a go. I havnt looked back yet. I am always complimented on what a beautiful piece it is. As long as i remember to wind it in the mornings it keeps time wonderfully. The only real downside is that if you want to put a picture in it you have to look at the back of the picture paper as well. Wish it had come with a silver cover to accent the beauty of the watch. However, beyond that one downside its perfect.

Best watch chain ever. I was walking home from the store when 8 'ninjas' jumped me. At first they were all "hey man, gimme a smoke." And I was "nah, smoking kills."
Then they went all crazy on me tossing rocks and even a street sign at me. I dodged the rocks and deflected the sign off my shin. As I wheeled around mad now as I was late, I yelled, "do you know what time it is??" In that brief instant of mortal combat all motion ceased as their nicotine craving blood thirsty eyes locked mine.. It was too late though for I had whipped out the pocket watch chain and it was spinning is faster than a jet turbine.... "It's time to DIE" I shrieked as I shriek whenever aggravated, and with the precision of a surgeon, deftly amputated the limbs of the assailants like a weedwacker in a dandelion field. I made short work of them and the bloodletting was nasty.. As I was walking away looking at my thrashed leisure suit I thought this beautiful gold plated chain was ruined, but I was just as wrong as the 'ninjas' were dead... The chain washed off clean. Sure it took a bit to get the cartilage outta a few links, but it still cleaned up nicely, and I recommend it to anybody. I'd even consider purchasing another one, but I don't think I'll ever need to as it is indestructible.

I really love my pocket watch. The engraved designs give the case an older and more classical look while the black watch face lends it a more modern feel. The weight of the watch feels lighter than I expected, but I think it the watch will still be quite durable. The only part that I worry about breaking first is the clip at the end of the chain - it is now somewhat bent and I suspect will be the first part to break. These things are hardly unexpected though for a watch of ~$12 (as opposed to other pocket watches that sell for upwards of $100), so I still feel like this was money well spent.
