****updated below - after 2months of wearing*****

the color is not accurate, less reddish, less oil/tanned with more of a matte finish. BUT i understand that pictures of colors can be off, and its not the product or sellers fault, just an issue inherent to shopping online. This strap is the closest in style to what i was looking for, even with the inaccuracy.

It is the quality you'd expect for a $20 strap i guess. not great, but not bad. doesn't come with pins, but does come with a tang -which looks pretty nice (silver, polished - with pin)

The 2 star rating is because it stinks. The day I received it, I noticed it smelled bad - then I wet the strap after putting it on my wrist to work it in, as it was kind of stiff. The smell that was produced was rancid. Like that burnt fish chemical leather smell. I dont expect a refund, as i wore it and wet it. Rather wanted to warn other buyers, that you may get a stinky wrist with this strap. maybe this was a one off problem from this dye batch or whatever...but really...yuck.

I dont know if this is a problem with the entire line of bands, or if its just this type of band, of if this is the only strap like this.

****UPDATE****

So after two months of wearing this watch strap, I have to say that the smell has gone away. it really went away after about 2-3weeks.
I had had a lengthy email conversation with the seller, who was motivated to make me happy, which was really nice to see. He rechecked his stock and felt that my problems were a one off situation, and was happy to send me a replacement. Instead, I chose to keep the strap just to see what would happen.
It still has a mild odour when wet, much like any tanned leather... but as with any leather strap I tend to take it off before washing dishes, etc.

All in all, I am happy with this strap and have given it 4stars. In fact, because I use an omega tang buckle, it has worn a little bit, and if needed, I would happily buy this strap again. I am also quite happy with the service provided by this seller, and would be very comfortable buying other items from him.
