I bought this strap for my Panerai 111 Luminor Marina. I always thought these classic watches, with their very simple and uncluttered black dials, would go well with a nice thick strap that doesn't have full stitching, as traditional Panerai straps tend to have. The MP Private Reserve strap, which only possesses stitching at both ends of the strap, is a new variation on an old theme performed by Mario Paci, and I think it presents the watch under the best combination of beautiful leather and polished stainless steel I have seen so far. I was afraid of the natural finish of the buckle and how it would go with the polished case of the watch, but was pleasantly surprised. The buckle is more shinny than a typical brushed finish, and more sturdy both in feel and as protection against scratches than my original buckle. The strap's old cognac tone goes perfectly with the black dial and orange markers. The thickness quite perfect at about 4.5mm, but still supple and will undoubtedly last a lifetime. Service from TC Straps was great as they are prompt to answer any questions, and I received the strap 3 days after placing the order. I will buy from them again.
