I ordered this because it is a battery/quartz movement watch (my two previous wind-up pocket watches failed). After about two weeks, I am pleased with this watch. It is a bit on the thin side (OK with me) and lighter than most pocket watches. The only nit to pick is that the stem is difficult to grasp in order to pull it out to set the time, but this can be a good thing for something floating around my pocket.

The watch comes with a chain, but I don't use it, so have no info to offer on its quality. I use a soft round shoe lace with three of four knots as a fob/grip/locator.
