This watch keeps time well and in the weeks I have owned it has not had any mechanical issues. The skeleton view is excellent, allowing a nice view of the workings. The hinge for the magnifier cover is a little larger than it appears in the images, but it does not detract from the watch. I have received a number of compliments on this piece.

I would like it if there were more jewels in the workings, I have only been able to see one in the skeleton section, but for the price this isn't a surprise.

I can recommend this watch to anyone looking for an affordable, but attractive, pocket watch. I will revisit this review later to add a note about long term wear.

Additional info: I have had the piece for several months now and it still works just as well as the day I bought it.

AMPM24 Luxury Golden Luminous Mens Mechanical Pocket Watch + Chain Gift WPK020 Review

When I got it, I was completely amazed. It was bigger than I thought, it was shinier, prettier, and it looks really expensive even though it only costs like $25! It looks to me like real gold, even though I doubt it really is real gold. There are no photos of what the back looks like, so I figured it was plain with nothing on it, but it has really pretty floral carvings on it and a large window you can see the gears through. I have only 2 complaints but neither are that big: 1: the glass cover over the clock face is wiggly, as in you can put your finger on it and move it back and forth. 2: The chain it comes with has a belt hook instead of a clip so it works if you have a belt but not if you want to clip it to the inside of a purse, like I wanted to. I ended up switching the chain with one from a different pocket watch. Overall I am very excited about my new watch!

I bought this watch when I bought a three-piece suit. I thought it would look good to have the chain hanging from one of the pockets in the vest and always have a watch around when I need it (rather than pull out a cell phone). This watch is absolutely beautiful. I love the way it looks and also the way you can see the pieces moving inside. The only problem I find with this watch is that it does need to be wound quite a bit. Before I go out for the evening, I make sure I wind it up, because if I don't, I know it won't make it through the night. Other than that, it is a very good watch!

Charles-Hubert, Paris Gold-Plated Satin Finish Mechanical Pocket Watch Review

When I bought this watch I didn't expect it to be too great, but when I received it, I instantly loved it. It has a nice finish, kind of shiny, seems pretty durable, has a nice skeleton inside, I enjoy watching the mechanism tick on the inside of it, once I set the time and wound it about 37 times, it kept time for about 24 hours, and would of lasted even longer had I not wound it again. All in all, it is a great watch, looks very nice, has a nice chain, and is definitely worth $76, especially since it cost $115 on the Charles Hubert website.

This is the third one of these I have owned in the last 10 years. They have come from different sources but are identical. Mine take a real beating and do get scratched up after a while.
The metal hanger came loose on the last one but I just took it to the shop and banged it closed with a hammer. The compass is not very useful but I don't use it anyway. I also found the battery a bit tricky to change. Overall it serves my purposes well and if I have to buy a new one every 4 or 5 years that's fine.
