I purchased this watch from another company on Amazon for $8 and even at that price I still feel ripped off. That company no longer sells this watch. I suspect because of all the complaints. Before they stopped selling it, they offered to let me keep it for free if I would not publish a negative review about the watch and and their company. I can tell by the picture that this is the exact same watch from the same maker. As a service to other Amazon customers I am publishing this review wherever I see this watch sold.

This watch is so cheap it is like a bad joke. The front crystal is plastic. When I tried to pull off the clear plastic sticker that was affixed to the watch to protect the plastic crystal, I pulled out the crystal with the sticker. The watch weighs almost nothing because the case is paper thin cast aluminum. The "bronze tone" on the watch is either the cheapest plating ever or paint. It is easily scratched down to the bare silver colored metal beneath with the slightest pressure. The cover does not open all the way and it does not snap closed when you try to close it. (You have to push the button to get it to close) The watch face is positioned wrong so that you have to hold it like a stopwatch to read it. (I got a different pocket-watch from China recently and it was the same way. Apparently the makers of these Chinese trash timepieces have never seen a real pocket-watch or don't care to make them like real pocket-watches. Lesson: Just don't buy pocket-watches made in China) The cheap quartz movement inside is the size of a dime and obviously made for a small woman's watch. The battery is microscopic and I've never seen one like it for sale in America. Bet it costs more than the watch to replace it. May as well mention, the watch was running on the battery when I got it, that means the battery has been running down since it was put in the watch. They didn't even put in a piece of removable plastic to preserve the battery life until the watch was started by the customer. This thing is like a child's toy. (That is if you want your child playing with something cheaply made in China that is probably covered in lead paint and will break in seconds) I can't say enough bad things about this watch because there is nothing good to say about it. I see this watch being sold for over $20 by some companies on Amazon. They should give it away for free as an apology for the insult of just thinking of taking your money for it. (The way the company I bought it from did) Save yourself the time, trouble and cost of shipping it back after you get it and see it is worthless. Just don't buy this watch at any price.
