This band is barely 11 inches, and that's with the buckle. This means the band is not significantly larger than standard sized wrist straps. Which is fine if you're an average sized person looking for style, but not so good if you're a larger than average adult male, or are expecting the ability to wear the strap over clothes, which is something you're supposed to be able to do with a real NATO-spec'd strap. The metal keepers are cheap pressed metal, and are heat-sealed (as opposed to sewn) in, which is less secure. This band is paper thin, and not heavy duty, though the nylon itself is probably tougher than other options. The edges are not well heat-melted, so they frayed even before I put it on, but the center holes ARE well heat-melted, and seem fine. All in all, this strap is strictly for people looking for a style, not for people who are looking for a much larger strap, or a very robust strap. Not bad for the money- I've seen much worse.
