I got this watch band for my black citizen eco drive that came with a black leather band. After wearing through my 5th leather strap (over 5+ years), I was getting sick of replacing them.

Some observations:
-Finish isn't matte, but isn't super shiny either. My watch face isn't as "pure black" and is more matte, but this band still looks good with it.
-Removing links/attaching face to the band were fairly easy. You just need a small screwdriver (I used eyeglass repair screw driver).
-Solid link construction is a MUST (like this band). This is the reason this band is more expensive, because non-solid link is cheap and will break over time.

Reason for 4 stars is that the curved metal bracket (around the face of the watch) is kind of loose, and makes a rattle noise when I move my wrist..could be tighter.

Overall, I'm very happy at the color and quality of this band.
