This product seems to have been changed. Possibly the production was moved elsewhere... In any case the quality is not what it was just a few short years back.

Not exactly the band in the picture. The picture is of old band, and I wore that one for a couple of years. The band had been stiffer; the padding was thicker; and it had took a few days keeping the watch and band closed on a wrist-shaped object for the band to... well.. take the shape of a wrist. After that the strap fit beautifully, and held up for a long time.

This band is softer, and although it still requires to be shaped, it's not the solid hunk of leather the old one was. Let's see how it stands up to wear.
