I looked at the photo of this strap and read the description and ordered it for a specific large chronograph watch I thought it would go well with. I order a lot of watch bands so I know what the various product descriptions usually mean. The band I received is 20mm wide at the watch head, does have an embossed crocodile skin pattern, but the band color is not a medium brown, but much closer to dark burgundy (more reddish)than the photo shows, and more importantly, has very little padding. The band I got is a "long" length, but it definitely is not made for a larger, thicker chronograph, as the description suggests. It is also a good deal glossier than "semi-gloss" as described. I gave three stars because this band does seem to be a well-made, as most deBeer bands are. I also know that you can't always judge a product by its photo on Amazon, but I also know the difference between a heavy-padded, semi-gloss chrono strap and the strap that I received.
